Cook Advanced – Level II Diploma Program
The Cook Advanced – Level II Diploma Program offers advanced skill training in the culinary arts to graduates of our Cook Basic program and others who qualify. Classes are hands-on and you will be working with chef instructors who bring their own wealth of experience in professional kitchens to your education.
This 300 hour diploma program combines traditional and modern advanced culinary techniques with information on establishing a restaurant business. Particular emphasis is placed on quality, creativity and presentation. You will learn about menu planning and practice complex recipes.
Our Cook Advanced students are encouraged to produce one meal for our gourmet lunch program where they plan the menu and organize the kitchen including food preparation and staffing. These meals are served to paying customers who provide comments to help you discover your strengths as a chef.
