Cook Basic – Level I Diploma Program
The Cook Basic – Level I Diploma Program is a core program at Liaison College, offering new chefs the basics in modern and classic cooking techniques and theory. Classes are hands-on and you will be working with chef instructors who bring their own experience in professional kitchens to your education.
This diploma program is an intensive, 300 hour course that covers the fundamentals of great cooking from personal hygiene and safe practices to nutrition and classic skills such as soups, vegetable preparation, entrees, and pastry-making.
Students also receive job search information and practical assistance in finding fulfilling employment. Exclusive to LIAISON COLLEGE is our Career Action Plan Services, or CAPS. CAPS was developed to provide the maximum in assistance to students and graduates in launching their career in the culinary arts field. It is regularly updated to keep pace with changes in the hospitality industry. Our professional graduate services team guides you in making the right choices and decisions for your career.
