Being
an Admissions Officer at the Kitchener Campus gives Nancy the
opportunity to fulfill her main passion of helping others to
better themselves, reach for the stars and achieve their potential.
The hospitality field is no stranger to her, as Nancy ’s
parents built and operated their own motel when she was growing
up, and she met her husband when he was cooking and running his
own restaurant and bar.
In today’s world, it is common for people to choose more
than one career path in their life, and Nancy has first hand
knowledge of this. Her past employment has taken her all across
Canada , the United States , the Caribbean , and to Dublin and
Copenhagen . Her extensive travel has allowed her to stay in
hotels and dine in restaurants ranging from economy to five-star
in such exotic locations as Las Vegas , Hawaii , Ireland and
Denmark . “No matter where I travel, I notice that every
person wants to be served by friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate
people.”
Important things to consider when looking for training are
having a goal that you are passionate about, being willing to
invest in yourself by taking the proper training and believing
in yourself and your ability to do it. Nancy loves watching the
changes that take place in a person from the first visit when
enquiring about training to seeing the student graduate with
confidence. She gets very excited when they achieved their goal
of getting a job in their new career. Our grads get
jobs!
Please feel free to give Nancy
a call to discuss your passion for cooking. The demand for qualified
cooks/chefs has never been stronger. You could be working in
your dream job in as little as 15 weeks. Feed your passion!
