Our Students Tour La Patisserie
Our students were introduced to commercial baking in a BIG way when they toured local bakery and pastry shop, La Pattiserie. They were awed by the huge equipment required to mass produce baked products. As a result of the trip, one of them now has a part time job! See the photos in our gallery.

Drew worked in kitchens for years, but his lack of professional training prevented him from climbing the kitchen ladder. So he came to Liaison College where he learn the skills he needed part-time, while keeping his job. Nearing the end of the program, our counsellors helped him find a new job as a cook at the New Dundee Emporium. Read all about his journey to success.
High Tea Fit for a King

Kitchener Students Help Prepare and Serve at Historic McKenzie House
Five of our students helped prepare and server High Tea at Historic McKenzie House in Woodside, Kitchener, under the direction of our own Chef Brian. Over 20 people were in attendance as we listened to award-winning author Dorothy Duncan discuss the history of Canadian cuisine.
